for the artists among us

Open Mic -
We have an open mic time scheduled from 11am to 1pm on both Friday and Saturday (the 26th and 27th), and we welcome your participation in this event, whether it be in the form of song, drama, storytelling, poetry readings or dance! The open mic will be a little different this year in that we wont have you pre-register via e-mail or phone. Instead, we'll have a sign-up sheet available at 9-10am on Friday and Saturday before the open mic. You can sign up for a slot then on a first-come-first served basis!

Art Tent -
Last year we experimented for the first time with the idea of an art tent open for people to display their work. This year we'd like to expand on that idea by encouraging more artists to bring their pieces either to sell or simply to share with others.
Additionally, on Saturday the 27th, we'll have a scheduled time (9:30am-11am) in which artists can (if they choose) discuss and present their work to interested festival goers inside the art tent.
If you are interested in bringing artwork to the festival, please fill out the appropriate information on the registration form when you register. Be aware that this will be a fairly outdoor setting - there will be a tent roof over the pieces, but things might get damp overnight with the dews if not properly covered. Please keep this in mind!
