Eagle's Nest
The Eagle's Nest
gives you a chance to escape from your busy life for awhile.
Built on the spectacular northern reach of Orcas Island's
shoreline, this waterfront home provides a delightful vacation
destination from which you can enjoy the grandeur of the
maritime Northwest. People staying at the house enjoy exploring
the beach at low tide, finding starfish and shells, or making
sandcastles. At high tide, when the beach is inaccessible, you
and your family can sit on the deck of the house, listen to the
waves lapping on the rocks below, and watch the sun set behind
neighboring islands, all the while keeping your eyes open for
the seals and otters splashing in the water as they hunt for
their dinner.

Outside
The Eagle's Nest is
located on the north shore of Orcas Island; just a 5 minute
drive from Eastsound, and a minute's walk from North Beach. The
deck and barbecue provide an excellent place to cook, eat, read
or just look at the scenery. We've seen herons, kingfishers,
otters, seals, whales and bald eages. At low tide there is a
sandy beach just below the house to explore. Seastars, sunstars,
crabs and flounder can all be found on the shore.
