Cottages
The two "Sunset Cottages" are
located on the Sunset Avenue, on the north shore of Orcas
Island, just
a five minute drive from Eastsound, and a minute's walk from
North Beach. The deck and barbecue provide an excellent place to
cook, eat, read or just look at the scenery. We've seen herons,
kingfishers, otters, seals, whales and bald eages. At low tide
you can explore a sandy beach just below the cottages. Seastars,
sunstars, crabs and flounder can all be found on the shore.

The Cottages
The main cottage is a
1 story, 1100 sq. ft. house with a view across to Sucia Island.
With 2 bedrooms, a futon and one full bath, the house can sleep
up to 6+ people comfortably. The home was built in the 1950s, and
remodeled in 2001. The guest cottage is a 1 story, 800 sq. ft home with one
bedroom and one bath. The living room has a full-sized futon.
Bedroom Arrangements
The main
cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed and
dressers. The larger bedroom also has a full sized futon. The
smaller room looks out over the water.
The guest cottage has one bedroom with a double sized
and single sized bed and a dresser.
Kitchen
Both kitchens
are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishes.
Living Room
The living room includes one futon, as well as a rocking chair.
Large windows offer great views of the sound. There is also a
stereo system and TV/DVD, with a selection of movies and music.
